WHO AND WHERE WE ARE
Roxley Models started as a mail order business but there is now a large bright and airy shop which has been designed to make browsing round our considerable stock a pleasure.
OUR STAFF
Frank and Simon run the shop and alongside them are Colin, Sally and Caroline. Anyone you speak to at the shop will be happy to take your order or reservation.
Sally and Caroline have particular knowledge of the buses and Scalextric and they also handle processing of your orders along with postage and packing. Please call our shop with regard to Scalextric as we hold a fairly large stock of track, cars and sets and the website is not up to date at the moment.
Simon and Colin are the railway experts - Colin is Chairman of the Dorking Model Railway Club, Simon has been to Germany for courses run by Fleischmann and Marklin on their new digital trains.
Frank has the best knowledge of the RX Range, which he commissioned and the Post Office model side of the business - he was a founder member of the Post Office Vehicle Club.
OUR OPENING HOURS
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10.00-4.30 and Saturday 10.00 - 4.00.
We are closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
OUR LOCATION
You can always come and buy direct from our shop at 4 Beckley Parade, Great Bookham, Surrey.
Up the road from Roxley Models is Polesden Lacey National Trust property and Box Hill part of the North Downs Way. Nearby is Dorking renowned for its antique shops and Denbies Vineyard with its award winning wines. Only half an hour away are Cobham Bus Museum (open most Saturdays to see the collection and restoration activities but phone first to check) and Brooklands Motor Museum with planes as well as racing cars on show.
Easy road access comes from the A3 (Esher from London or Ripley from Guildford) and from the M25 exit at Junction 10 Cobham to join the A3 or Junction 9 to come through Leatherhead).
Follow the signs for the A246 Leatherhead to Guildford road in Bookham. Coming from Leatherhead we are just past the small roundabout at the top of the hill and from Guildford we are just after Bookham High Street, past the garage, on the second small parade of shops on the left. Look for our large red awning.
There is plenty of free parking either outside the shop or in the road opposite.
